Help Small question about texting threads.

Hi There,

Is it possible to get rid of the contact's phone number in a text thread?
I can't find an option that makes it dissapear.
To explain..atm it looks like this:

Me: blablabla
Contact's name (m +123456789): blablabla

The contact's number is a link, which makes makes a window appear that says: "Check the phonenumber" with 3 options beneath: call, send text and open contact. No idea what this is for, since the number is already saved in my phone.

Thing is.. I just want to have a clean thread going so without the contact's number, since it's pretty useless since the contact's name is right next to it so you know who you're texting with...

So does anyone know how to achieve this:

Me: blablabla
Contact's name: blablabla

On the stock HTC messenger I don't think it is possible. however 3rd party apps like handcent and go sms does not have this. Try them out
