Smart lock

[NOTE 9]

I've wondered why my SMART LOCK feature in my Samsung Galaxy Note 9 which keeps the phone unlocked in trusted locations or connected to trusted devices no longer works, having the need to continually unlock the phone at home etc.
Discovered the Locations and Device settings are gone on SMART LOCK page so there's no means of setting it.
All software updates are current.
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

It's broken and has been for few weeks now, it's a known issue and will hopefully be fixed soon, so annoying it's not working.

I had a look at the Smart Unlock feature on my Samsung Galaxy Note20 Ultra. And it suggested trusted locations that were demolished six years ago, and no longer exist, e.g. Jinan Toll Gate. Yup, it's very broken.

All software updates are current

I just updated Google Play systems and went back through settings - smart lock shows again. Try, after updating play systems, settings/security & privacy/more security settings/smart lock. Looks like it's fixed.

Yeah. Not sure that updating play will actually work, it may just be a result of restarting the phone (that works for a bit also).
