Smart Stand - Google Nexus One / HTC Desire

Has anyone tried one of these 'Smart Stands'? I'm more interested in finding out if anyone is using it with a gel case fitted?

Well it looks exactly the same as the in car holder but on a fixed stand. I use one of those and its a good fit for the desire, but doesn't have a lot of extra room, so unless your case is pretty slim you might struggle

What's so smart about a stand that according to the reviews doesn't fit the phone properly and doesn't even appear to be adjustable? (No, being able to rotate from landscape to portrait does NOT count). Waste of money if you ask me. And you aren't going to find a stand that fits the phone with a case on, or it wouldn't fit the phone with a case off, so would be pretty useless as a phone stand!

Your only hope is probably something like This, but it states it doesn't work with silicone cases so you may be out of luck there too.
