Help Smartphone can send pictures but not receive

Hi I have The Samsung Galaxy S2x from Telus Canada, and i can't receive pictures anybody sends me. I can send them out but can't receive them. I talked to someone from my service provider (Telus), and all they told me to do is look at forums. Well i have looked at a few forums and i got nothing. If someone could help that would be greatly appreciated thanks

Are you connected to your data network? I know for mine, I have to have 4g active in order to send and receive pics.
