My Wileyfox Swift 2 Plus started having troubles with charging about a month ago. Sometimes when I plugged it into the charger, it would stop charging, especially if the cable moved a bit.
So I purchased a new cable and a charger, but the problem still existed and got worse.
The smartphone wouldn't even charge for days on end. I finally did a full factory reset and wipe cache partition but this did not fix the problem.
I use the app Ampere to see how fast it is charging, but it's around 10 to 400, though most of the time below 200, or 50, and it also stops charging competely sometimes.
What could be the problem for this?
Unfortunately, I just exceeded the 6 months of battery warranty so I can not send it in for repair without cost.
The charger I use is a USB quick charge 2.0.
15 Watt
Voltage: 5 V, 9 V, 12 V
Ampere: 3 A, 1.66 A, 1.25 A
I am from The Netherlands so the voltage is 230.
The cable I use is: USB-C cable - USB 2.0 to USB 3.1 Type-C
Do I need a different charger or is this one fine for my Wileyfox?
