SMS Archive Suggestion?

Is there a simple way to archive (not necessarily backup) a text conversation? I have a couple VERRRRY long threads that I would like to save but move out of my text app. Google Backup just backs it up and doesn't get it off of the app.

Try an app on the play store called "SMS to text". It seems to work well and has good ratings.
