    I am having issues opening my messaging and through some research I believe that a message is corrupt and keeping my messenger from opening. Where are they stored so I can delete them off my phone? I am rooted so I have access, just don't know where to look

    What message app are you using?

    Neither stock or handcent are working. Has to be a corrupt message preventing them from opening.

    Try:
    Settings-->Applications-->Manage Applications-->Messaging-->Clear Cache

    Ok that did not work, it says must cache is empty

    Worst case scenario, you could do a factory wipe. It will wipe off your applications, contacts, etc. and return it to "out of the box" status.

    That will definitely cure the message problem, but it will also mean you have to start over loading apps, themes, etc.

    I know that I could always do that, but I was hoping for another answer. Any ideas?

    The only other suggestion I can think of is going to rootzwiki and finding out the name of the IRC channel that the mesmerize gurus frequent. I bet someone in there can tell you exactly where to look.
