Is it possible to have the sender's name/number displayed on the lock screen when a text is received?

I've got handcent installed and I've got it set up so that when I receive a text, the quick reply box pops up for 10/20 seconds. But if I'm away from my phone and I later check to see if I've received a text, the only indication I have is a small icon on the navigation bar.

Try using Handcent SMS and I think it gies you the ability to show pop up over the lock screen.

I've got that switched on, and when I receive a new text it does pop up over the lock screen. But after 10 seconds the screen turns off, and when I turn the screen back on again, the only indication I've got of receiving a text is the icon on the top left of the screen.

I'm looking for a facility whereby when I wake the phone up, the lock screen has a message saying something like:

    John
    Text received

The native text app had it appear just under the unlock bar, but handcent seems to have gotten rid of it for some reason.
