An SMS-sending piece of malware has hit Android phones, according to a Tuesday note from antivirus vendor Kaspersky Labs.

I've seen the article posted a few times but no one has said what media player it came from, just that it was disguised as one. It seems like they would want people to know what app it was that way people would avoid it. Then again it was "discovered" by a company that offers anti-virus protection apps for mobile phones so it could just be a scare tactic report or if it was real then they woulnt want us to avoid the app cause then there's no need for us to buy theirs.

That's a tuff one.yes a anti virus company would be likely to find this kinda thing 1st but it would pay off in the end for them to stoke the flame of paranoia
