SMS text box too small - can it be resized?

Hi,

I have bought the superb Better keyboard 3 which lets me resize the T9 keypad buttons to make them smaller.

Only problem is that the text input box for SMS on the stock app is just 1 line and too small. You cant get a half decent view of what you are typipng without scrolling through.

Is there any way to resize this to see more as the screen does now have the space.

(PS) I wont use handcent because if fails to attach audio properly.

I too would like some app that increases the size of the text input box for SMS on the stock app.

I am not interested in viewing the previous message 'bubbles' in a thread that appear above the text input box. I think that is a total waste of screen space.

All that I want to see when I am inputting a message is what I am writing. In the stock app you can only see three or four words of what you are writing. I would like the whole screen above the keypad to be the text input box, and also have the ability to increase the size of the input text in that box.
