Help snow leopard itunes to 4G MyTouch

Is there an elegant way to copy select mp3 files to my new 4G MyTouch? My iMac doesn't see the phone as a disk drive...... The only way I know how to do it is to copy select cuts on my itunes music file to portable disk drive to pc to android. There has got to be a better way! Any suggestions?
