So, could we get the GS3 software treats on the S2?

As per title. Several features seem interesting and completely within the capabilities of the S2, like the water ripple effects, the gestures, the screen not turning off if you're looking at it, the better voice commands, etc.
The shutter speed and burst modes of the S3 are amazing, but I guess that's a hardware improvement, yes?

I don't think so, Samsung wasn't even really keen on releasing Android 4.0 for the S2…so I guess these are the features that will be S3 only.
It should still have a pursuasive effect on you so you want to get a new samsung mobile …

Edit: at least officially, you might never know what people can do by themselves on rooted phones.

As i am not really interested in androids (of course until i got mine) and this is my first one. As far as i looked, i only interested in sgs3 better photo camera and 3D screen.

Most of that stuff COULD be ported over, but then you wouldn't be tempted to buy Samsung's SGS3.

I'll pass. I'll stick with my SGS2 throughout 2012 and re-evaluate in mid-2013.
