Hello all. Got the Droid a couple of days ago. My old Samsung i760 has been freaking out on me. I lost some contacts and it randomly reboots. That phone was reliable until the last month or so. I am a google user so Android was a natural progression for me. I was really tired of Win Mobile, but I love Verizon coverage. I had Cingular (AT&T) when I used to work for BellSouth. I don't miss it at all.

So here's to having fun playing with these phones. I have really high expectations as the OS matures.

Hello.
I'm a Samsung i760 owner. I will be getting the Moto Droid online next month with my NE2 credit for $149 through the VZW site.

I'm also tired of Windows Mobile and its tiny little OK buttons and little scrollbars that make it difficult to navigate around the OS. I was following the Palm Pre forums online reading about the different issues and I thought I was going to get the Pre. Then the Motorola Droid came out and the Pre doesn't look so hot anymore. To me, the Droid is better than the Pre. I'm sure better phones will come out after the Droid but I'm looking forward to owning one for the next year, at least.

Not that it's a huge deal to me, but I hope they can get multi-touch working on it and without breaking something on the phone.
