Is there any app that can turn your android phone in a "walkie talkie", but those kinds drivers use in traffic ?

An app to use when you drive from one city to another to ask for example "how's traffic up ahead ?"

Any ideas ?

"Waze" comes to mind ... though there's no 'talking'.

It's a 'community-based' road information program. It runs similar to any map program, but you (and others that are signed in) can indicate "issues" on the road including traffic back ups, accidents, police, ...

It's only as good as the number of users, but when I was driving the standard rush every day is was a valuable tool.
