Anybody who was previously set on a Thunderbolt thinking about getting a PlayStation phone instead?

I would rather wait for the second generation of the phone. Sony's timescape UI is very ugly - its too bland.

i'm a huge gamer so I will definitely be getting it. I think the Thunderbolt and X-Play both have their crowds they cater to.

You can about guarantee the following about the new Sony device:

    1 Proprietary connections
2 Proprietary Sony SD card, so no cheap high capacity options.
3 Just like PSP, no rom updates unless not rooted, so no new game Playstation functionality unless not rooted. Sony updates a lot, just for this reason. They do not like modding at all.

Thunderbolt had the same chipset. 8255 AND 205 gpu.

Why not get a NGP? Sony said it will be just as powerful as the PS3, surely the phone will not even touch it....
