Help So, shot a five minute video, and phone won't UL it to Youtube now

Instead, I get an error message telling me "Cannot upload a video larger than 1gig." It's a five minute vid. Shot from a cell phone. There's no WAY it can be a gig.

Even better is this....when I connect my phone to a computer and look at the file folders marked "Videos" and "MyVideos" the video I JUST SHOT is nowhere to be found, yet I can access it and watch it on my phone just fine. What the hell?

Have you tried using a different SD card?

if you are using a indulge and the original camera app it saves it to the sd card/ DCIM/Camera and the file name is the date and time it was shot

the "videos" and "my videos" folders are unrelated

also I just shot a 10 second video at maximum resolution...700something x whatever....with audio......it was 4.37mb...so figure 5mb x 6 = 30mb per minute of recording....roughly. I think it will vary some just depending what you record but I cant imagine it changing too much. Your 5 minute video should probably be around 150mb or so.

You did mention you can't find it.....so if you can't find it what were you trying to upload to youtube?
