I think Verizon sent out mass emails of shipping numbers to everyone who ordered in the 7/24-7/27 ... Whatever works though

The thing that sucks though, is that my shipping is going through UPS, and it says there's no tracking data yet. WTF.

Ordered 7/26 at about 9:30PM via the Verizon web site shipped today 7/29 from Memphis and due to be here (Iowa) before 3PM tomorrow 7/30.

I got lucky with mine. I called verizon one day asking about the X. I was still with Sprint at the time. They told me that a customer order one and never came to pick it up so they gave it to me the same day. I ported my number and cancelled Sprint. No EVO for me!

Oh absolutely. Yet again the supply does not meet the demand. Not very hard to tell that the ship date won't stay at one date for too long.

My tracking info said "indirect signature required" which according to FedEx means that you can leave a signed note if you are not there, if it says direct signature then it has to be signed for.

the ship date that's on the website today is the one you can expect if you order today. if when you ordered it said "will ship by 8/4" then your order will ship by 8/4. pretty sure that's how it works, but i could be wrong.

By the way i ordered mine on the 24th which was this past saturday and i got a shipping date of aug 4th. Needles to say im a happy guy.

Got mine today as well. I ordered mine on the 22nd and was given a shipping date of August 3rd. I called a few days ago and they told me the same thing. Called again this morning and they told me it had already shipped and was sitting in Portland, Oregon, where I live, and was waiting to go out on delivery. All I can say is be persistent and call on a regular basis. Do not rely on them sending you an email saying it has shipped. I never got one.
