all is well on my Evo again!! Pandora sound quality is much improved (although it does skip periodically), I can now stream Pandora and use Google Nav at the same time again without the nav killing Pandora when the voice prompts.

So was it the HTC ota or I noticed Pandora has issued a couple of updates over the past 2 weeks, or a combination of both?

Either way I feel I'm back to what the android experience is all about, even though I'm unrooted:D

The audio quality issue was fixed by Google (and patched in via HTC in the latest OTA update).

The audio pausing issue with Google Maps was fixed by Pandora in the latest Pandora 1.5 update.
