Help Social Hub and Handcent problem

Hi all,

I'm having a problem with the Social Hub which has me stumped. I really like the idea of having all my messages in 1 place which is why I've been persevering.

The Hub's icon displays the number of unread messages, but reading text messages in Handcent (my default SMS application) doesn't clear the count on the icon back to zero.

It seems to be because the stock SMS application is still reporting unread messages, even though all notifications are turned off.

The only way I can see of clearing the Hub icon's message count to zero is to use the stock SMS app. to mark the messages as read.

Anyone have a solution?

Im not having this exact problem, but I am experiencing issues with notifications not reducing once a message has been read or deleted.

I'm getting this a lot with the task bar icon.. It just will not remove itself once I've opened the message in the stock app.

I had this problem using Hancent and still have it using GO SMS.
It is annoying me as it always shows 1 unread SMS.

I have unlinked all my other social accounts because it was annoying me but can't find any way to stop SMS showing - it's annoying as both Social Hub & default messaging app always say unread.
