I got a Hydro Life locked to MetroPcs. When I network unlocked it, it gives me only 2g network of al

I got a Hydro Life locked to MetroPcs. When I network unlocked it, it gives me only 2g network of all careers sim cards I insert in the phone. Please help with a solution on that.
