solved: get full audio output through hdmi (sort of)

Plug in hdmi and run a slideshow from gallery.

While the slideshow is running, ALL audio from any running apps will export through hdmi and play on the tv.

If you exit the slideshow, the audio will revert to phone, but will return to hdmi when you return to slideshow.

Right now I'm listening to streaming podcasts from the tv speakers, with a goofy slideshow of three worthless photos repeating.

It's unfortunate that hdmi isn't more fully implemented, but this tweak makes it possible to listen to any audio from your phone (podcasts/downloads/pandora...) through a tv or stereo.

Excellent. Should only be a tiny amount of time before we have full audio out over HDMI whenever we want (hell, maybe even with a widget!), and then we can move on to outputting both full audio and video out...
