Help [Solved] just got my evo from bb antryed to update phone to 2.2 but it says everythings up to date?!

Pretty much what the title states because I tried updating thrbphone from settings but it says everything is up to date even though im running 2.1 any advice or suggestions? Thanks

check what you are running first

menu, settings, about phone, software info

If you JUST activated it, you may need to wait a day or so for the system to see the phone, and allow you to update.

You may need to do it over WiFi. Some people have had issues over 3G and as soon as they went to WiFi it worked and started to download. Something to try if your able to.

Or, if it was very recently manufactured then it could already be up to date.

hey guys thanks for the responses. but i just checked the firmware and it said 2.1. and then i tried doing the update again and it worked! thanks for all thehelp much appreciated!
