    First of all thank you for your service. I'm truly blessed for a forum like this where people are self-less and like to help others.

    I am trying to root my Samsung Galaxy S7 SM-G930V with Odin3-v3.10.6 using Windows 10. I have not been able to Root it because I get this error:

    <ID:0/003> FAIL! (Auth)
    <ID:0/003>
    <ID:0/003> Complete(Write) operation failed.
    <OSM> All threads completed. (succeed 0 / failed 1)

    This is the steps that I have taken:

    Unzipped a specific file that contained CF-Auto-Root-heroqltevzw-heroqltevzw-smg930v.tar

    I went to developers mode on my phone and enabled OEM unlock, and USB debugging.
    I pressed volume down, home, and power button at the same time till I got to the Download screen on my phone. I connected my phone via usb to my laptop.

    Odin appears to be reading my phone. I added the CF-Auto-Root file to the AP button on Odin and hit start. Please note that I tried the same steps by trying all my USB ports to make sure that it wasn't my USB port.

    Can someone please help? Thank you in advanced.

    You cannot use CF Autoroot for that device. Look up the T-mobile S7 nougat root thread on XDA. Same process.
