Help [Solved]shapewritter on froyo

I successfully found shapewritter and swype after I did my factory reset. I downloaded both but for the life of me I can't get them to come up as my keyboard. This sux add! What the help am I doing wrong or can I not use them on froyo? I have gone to settings and keyboards and set them there and nothing. If i had known this I would not if reset my phone. Is there another type of keyboard that is simular?I hate this tapping shut to type. Shapewritter had me spoiled from help! Ugh!

Are you long pressing on a place where you can write text, then selecting input method, then selecting shapewriter?

If you want a supported program, in the market try SlideIt. It works and is very similar to Swype.

No I was not. That worked thank you so much. I was lost without it! Lol
