looked for an answer on quite a few threads and forums on this one.

on my moto droid, there are a couple mobile sites that will not stream video, but work on my old omnia, and my brothers htc hero. ie break mobile, the onion, and a few random other ones.... sometimes it will play one video, then every other video from that server gives a "video not eligable for streaming on this device" or similar error message. it seems odd to me that some mobile vids will work on a hero but not the droid? or is it just my phone? anyone else fed up with this?

The Droid doesn't have any Flash support, so those sites shouldn't be working. We should have full Flash for Android in the first half of 2010, hopefully sooner rather than later.

Agreed, but to my knowledge the winmo omnia did not have flash support and I think some mobile sites use a non flash player for streaming on phones

The Omnia uses Flash Lite 2.1 and would stream Flash videos from mobile-enhanced websites.

I just saw that and I stand corrected, thanks for straightening me out.

    Verdict: Hurry up and wait.

It will be nice having Flash support on the phone.... I don't check out videos on it much, but it's always good to have the option!
