General Some questions about Incredible 2

    Since Friday,I have an Droid Incredible 2,. Tried activating it using the *228 method to no avail. I was on the phone with verizon and will have go to the store and see if I can activate then:thinking:

    Will I loose any of the free apps I downloaded when activation occurs?:thinking:

    If I can not activate it from my home does this mean I do not have coverage there?:thinking:

    If you've installed apps from Market by downloading, you must have had a valid service connection when you did it. Go somewhere that gives the phone a good connection and try dialing *22899. Occasionally *228 doesn't work, usually due to a poor connection. Try again later and all is well.

    *22899 is just a quick way to get the activation process running without waiting for any prompts when you call in.

    If you downloaded your apps with the Market app, it should remember all the apps you've installed, free or paid, even if you have to do a Factory data reset.
