Hi, I've just about had it with craptive storage. Cricket claims to have a used Nokia Lumia 640 for 99 cents. I bet a Windows phone wouldn't have all these problems with sd cards because it uses the same system as a Windows computer. Why should I stick with Android?

8gb internal... for apps and storage...
128gb for external SD... 1gb ram which is slow... I use an Android with a file explorer, which works just fine for viewing folders and files. Operates just like a Windows machine.

Presumably that's a subsidized price subject to mandatory two year contract. Although Nokia Lumia 640 is really a budget device anyway.

Because you may not find all the apps and/or services that you might require in a smart-phone. I know for me now with what I use, Windows Phone would be almost completely useless, and I might as well have a dumb flip-phone than Windows Phone. You could consider an Apple iPhone of course, no SD card problems at all with them, although considerably more expensive than a Lumia 640.

What phone do you have now and what issues are you having with it?

I'm guessing you're going to get all of .99 worth of phone with that, those specs look pretty minimal.

Actually Cricket has no contract for all of thier phones. So at .99 that's a steal. But you get what you pay for

A fire sale price to get rid of the them possibly?

Yep. Microsoft discontinued them and Cricket is stuck with them.
    Enticing, isn't it?

Will I own the Nokia 640 and it's a pretty good phone depending on what you want to do with your phone, but if you like a lot of apps made strictly for Android through Google Play Store it's best to stick with an Android but if you're more conservative business minded you will go with the Windows phone because it has little to none virus issues because it's not open source GL like Android is but a lot more restricted than a Android device.
