Help Someone help? New Xoom

I just got my xoom for Christmas, put it to charge and turned it on...The screen will turn on, flicker in weird ways and then go black. it's fully charged and now I'm VERY concerned! I bought it new from Amazon. Please tell me this can be easily fixed...Thanks for any help

Have you tried the "hard reset" (hold the power button and the up volume at the same time)? This might work for you.

If the reset doesn't work, return it. If it's new, you should have no issue exchanging it or refunding it.
