I'm looking for an app like Desk Clock, but something that displays more information, especially text notifications.

When I am at work, I like to have the phone on my desk, with the kickstand, and just having the Desk Clock app running.

Is there any other application that lets you see some good info while in landscape mode?

(If the 'scene' UI let you see them in Landscape, that would be the best solution...)

Speaking of the Desk Clock app, is there a way to make it stay on when the phone is plugged in without changing when the screen turns off??

I put it on at night sometimes and when I wake up, it's off. Is everyones like this?

To get the default desk clock to stay on when plugged in go to: settings - applications - development - stay on. Note that if you touch the screen at all when the desk clock is plugged in it will close out back to the previous screen.

I got that all working - I just wish it had a notification that you have a text message, missed call, or email waiting for you
