Help somethings wrong with my S7 Edge

i have a samsung galaxy s7 edge.
i was using my hotspot for netflix while it was charging but it/the battery died so it turned off so i turned it back on and turned the hotspot off then closed all my apps but it died again but this time the battery charging popped up but the three dots at the bottom of the screen didnt it was only one and it kept blinking idk how to fix it. plz help.

Try the simplest things first: let it cool a bit, then try charging. Any phone will disable charging when hot to protect the battery, so if you have run the battery down through heavy radio use it might be as simple as that.

After that, jut leave it plugged in an turned off and see whether charging starts after a while.

Turn the phone off with charger plugged in and leave it alone for about 45 mins.
Then turn it on again after that 45 mins and see what its doing?
