Hi,

I took part in a trial of the Sony Google TV box in Australia. If anyone has any questions about the Sony Google TV box, I'm more than happy to answer them.

Sony Australia had 50 normal people in Australia trial the Sony Google TV box in the Australian market before it hit the shelf. I was one of the lucky people selected to trial the box, we were all asked to make a short video for Sony showing off what we most liked about the Sony Google TV box.Sony Australia have taken all these videos and mashed them all into one short clip showing these features being used by normal people in a normal home situation, here is a link to Sony's video

If anyone is interested in seeing my favourite features I have included a link to my video

If anyone has any questions they would like answered or would like to ask me about the Sony Google TV box please feel free to ask.

Hi there,

I have had this toy (NSZ-GS7) for a few days now and I am about to stream a movie through Google Movie Play. My ADSL speed is 4-5 Mb/s, which is probably OK to stream an SD movie, but not enough for an HD. Do you know if it is possible to download the movie and store it in the player? In the specs it says it has 8 GB of internal storage, but when I checked the storage in settings it reports about 3.9 GB.
Thank you in advance.

Ltoo

PS Nice videos!

Yes, you download Google Play Movies & TV and install it, then you can get the movies you rented. I believe I had to select the movie on some other device, the Google Play installed on the Sony network player has only apps, no movies nor books. However, it played the movie without problems.
