Sony S Series Tablet - Opening E-Mail Attachments

I'm working on a Sonty S-Series Tablet. E-Mail attachments types .DOC, .PDF, .XLS, and .PPS/.PPT attachments can't be opened. It just says "There is no installed application that can open this attachment" and it sends me to the Market.

I installed the Adobe Reader app and I still can't open a PDF.

Any ideas?
