Hi. Running Droid 2.3.3; System release 4.5; Build 4.5.1_57_DX5-32.
Have had my Droid X since January 2011; it worked fine until yesterday [15 Aug]. Now [whether composing an email or writing in a Word doc] I hit the space bar and it transforms from a line with upright ends to a blue line, a funny little space bar image displays above the blue line, and the process locks. At that point, it won't type and I have to abort. Any thoughts?
    Thanks,
    Vickie G

Just in case you don't know how to clear the app data...Menu >settings >Applications >Manage Applications >press the "All" tab >scroll down to "multi-touch keyboard" and press it, then select "Clear Data".

    Guys!

you both rock. That solved the problem ASAP.

Really appreciate it. I'm happy again. :)
