speaker sound suddenly reduced

I am not sure what happened, but at first the speakers when playing back audio was very loud and clear. Then, for seemingly no reason, it is barely audible even tuned all the way up. Did a press a setting somewhere by accident?

I had the same problem on my phone. I just powered the phone off (hold the power button down and select power off). When I turned the phone back on, speaker worked fine.

I had the same thing happen yesterday, did as others stated and works fine now

I noticed that today, but I found that it diverted all the sound to the ear speaker and not the rear speaker. It was after using bluetooth. Odd that all the sound switched like that. I hope they ffix this bug.

Yeah - same thing happened to me on Sunday and a reboot fixed it. Looks like it may be a "known" issue.

Droid experiencing external speaker problems, could be a software issue?

It's only happened once to me. Could be a problem if you use it as your alarm clock for getting up to go to work!!
