i want to place external small speakers on my polaroid and uniden tablets being the on board speakers are on the back and when you lay the tablet down it covers the speaker. so anyone have an idea of what will work and not be costly. i'm not a audiopyle just need to hear them. thanks.

any external speakers that plug into a head phone jack will work. when i'm at home i plug my asus transformer infinity to my computer speakers into the headphone jack. there are also plenty of bluetooth speakers put there but they can be expensive $50-$200.

I think amplified PC speakers should do the job.

My home theater system has a front facing input so I got a cable with two male ends.

    Mine goes to 11.

I use a cheap pair I had on one computer just to hear how-to videos.

  8. I have used cheap computer speakers as well. Unfortunately my wife didn't react well when I suggested borrowing her Bose computer speakers...

    They sound fantastic!
