I am still confused as to why Spigen would come out with these in colors that the phone does not come in? Just give us white and titanium button covers. They give us freaking PINK but no white. Unreal.

Choice. Although a simple email asking them may help people better understand why white isn't an option.

I don't think that will happen as I think the logo is etched into the button which by the way is the better way to do it because no one wants it to start rubbing off in a few months. Then it would look really bad. I'm with the others who have already posted that they don't mind it or kinda like it. I'm right there with them. Don't mind it and actually don't even notice it..... I just press the button. I never look at it to find it and press it, I know where it is

the only option really is to fill in the logo / etching. You need the right tools and find a color that matches.. then fill it in! Or, take the phone apart and buy another full button

As soon as I ordered the decorating buttons I sent them a separate email asking them why the white color is not available and is the color that i prefer...I got a reply a couple of days later and below is their response:

    "Dear Carlos,

Thank you so much for contacting us here at Spigen SGP!

We appreciate your interest in our products.

We currently do not have any definite plans to release other colors for the Home Buttons for the Note 2,
but if we are able to get enough customer interest, we can definitely bring it up to our developers as a strong suggestion!

Please check out our Facebook and Twitter for more information!"

I think if they offered an exact match on the color of the white phone and it is not "silvery shinny" i would leave it on.....but for some reason I just didn't like the buttons....

One thing I didn't like was there was no option for just getting 1 set with the same color. I know I wouldn't go for the pink one, and black wouldn't contrast my phone quite nicely as the silver one. Hopefully they will be offering one set of the same colored buttons.

@ceva As I read the reply they sent you all I could think was-

#1) they wanted to hurry up and start selling whatever colors they came up with just so they could be first.

#2) they'll come out with white (since not having it now will make the need/want popular) and sell it at a higher price than the others.

Yep...I do. When you think of it, there are 2 colors the Note 2 comes in- Titanium Grey and Marble White yet Spigen comes out with pink, silver and black. Not to be outdone, they have the same colored aluminum buttons for the iPhone.......imagine that.....they didn't get white either.

I don't know.....I just feel when a company does something they either need to go all in or not at all and not producing a white cover wasn't going all in. Just doesn't make sense to me.

The reason they don't make white is that with white you have to match the phone's color. You can very easily see the difference if the button and the phone colors differ by just slight shade. White is actually one of the hardest color to match perfectly.

Here's an idea, for those of you that might not have thought about it.

Create a custom Zagg skin for the back of your phone:

    http://www.zagg.com/personalize/designer/index.php

Using the material excess available, just custom cut an oval that you can stick on top of the logo. Simple and unobtrusive.

And so you get a precise cut, just take a piece of paper and trace around the button before you cut it on the excess film. If I were on Verizon, I know I'd do that. It's only $10 more than the button thing and even better, your button will match the color of the skin that you created.

It gave me an extreme exercise in concentration and a little dexterity to align it properly. LOL. Much harder to align than a screen protector. :banghead:

I'll post pics when I get home. I'm at discount tire replacing my wheels.

Yeah, never left it without a case. I usually use my tpu case because it's easier to put on than the two piece cases I have. I usually need to take the case off when replacing batteries or connecting to a car dock.

I'm certain it will cover the Verizon logo, even though I don't have that logo, I'm with Sprint. :D

Yeah I think the silver button looks odd with the white case. It would matches much better with the original silver trim like you said. With the white case, go PINK! It would be a conversation starter.

I'm actually more interested in what's on your screen? Is that a widget that allows you to put links to various apps like that?

i couldn't care less that the Verizon logo is on the home button. More things in life to be concerned about, IMO.
