    Hi.

I've just bought a Galaxy Portal and before buying it I watched a video review where the guy had that Android home replacement that works like a cube that spins.

Does anybody know where to find this theme or if it works on 1.5?

    Thanks for your help.

I think you are refering to the Samsung TouchWiz UI.

So I assume you're using it on a 1.5 phone? How does it run? Smooth? Laggy? Just wondering because this is the first I had seen that.

The dev for the GDE seems to MIA. If you read through the market comments it looks like a lot of FC lately and lag.

I just installed it myself. There is definite lag. Switching to your home screen can take 20 seconds or so. Plus this thing is a battery hog. You cannot customize your icons and right now there are not a lot of themes out there yet.

With all that being said, I still like it and using it. My main things are I like the spinning cube as well. OpenHome has a cube in beta but it's pretty lame and pointless. It also has an app dock that lets you scroll through any apps you put on there. Not sure if other ones have that yet or not.

There's a lot of pros and cons to this one. You can always buys it and then ask for a refund.
