I used SPRecovery to back up my 2.2 stock firmware. Where did it save the backup?
on your sdcard in the Nandroid folder
not there, there is no Nandroid folder.
Then the backup did not complete properly.
then it didnt work
how do i go back to stock then?
this thread about 3/4 of the way down. Reverting to stock is the title
i cant get into bootloader
Why not? Are you holding up on the keyboard.(Toward the screen)
yea, just goes through with boot up....if i try to enter recovery mode, just freezes on moto logo....could i use DroidRootKit and kist have it flash 2.0.1 sbf to phone?
you cant flash an sbf without being in the bootloader. There used to be a rom that would take you back to stock 2.0.1 that you could flash with SPRecovery. Let me see if I can find it
Are you talking about Droid Mod?
I hate to ask this stupid question again but are you sure you're holding up on the D-Pad and not left? It's the up if you're holding the keyboard the right way - horizontally. I don't understand why you would not be able to access the bootloader. That shouldn't be affected by an unbootable phone or broken recovery.
there we go, got it!
EDIT: thank you, i think i was hitting the dpad a little to late
