Sprint bill question

    I just started a 2-year unlimited plan with sprint. It shows my due date is Oct 3rd, I get paid on the 7th. Four days later. Will they cut my service off?

    absolutely NOT!

    all you have to do is send them an email to customer care and explain your situation. they will be happy to give you that additional time.

    i would inquire about any late fees that may crop up also. again send an email so you have it in writing.

    Marctronixx is correct. In fact I just asked for a two week extension on my bill and got it with no hassle at all. If you hate talking to them on the phone, like I do, then email as well as Sprint chat works great.

    Honestly, even if you didn't say anything, they probably wouldn't bother you. I've been a few days late before with other bills and there's never been a problem. If you were getting paid on the 15th, then that would be a different story.

    all good points.

    i was only suggesting the OP reach out due to this being a new account. sometimes the reps will take account history in to play when determining things, so a polite "heads up" would not hurt. plus it sure is easy to hit them up via chat and/or email.. get er done quick so you can moveon.org.. :D

    Sorry for the late response. I have had one busy work schedule this week and I finally got a day off. Thanks for the input, sounds great. I will have to do that.

    No, there shouldn'd be any sort of an issue. Yeah calling in and letting them know your going to be late is definatly an option. Or you can try calling in and talking to their financial department, and see if you can change your billing date.

    I recently (12-23-11) called SPRINT'S Customer Service & had my billing date changed to the 4th of each month,to accommodate my payday cycle.Took all of about 10 minutes to complete,no problems whatsoever.The CSR was very polite & knowledgeable, also offered to answer any other questions regarding service or equipment issues.

    Sprint also allows you a 10 day grace period. As long as you pay within 10 days of your due date.....you are fine.
