Did my download a few hours ago.

Any clue on how to change the lock screen notifications? Not a big fan of having messages and emails displayed on the Lock Screen.

    Thanks

I believe you go into settings then sound and notification. Scroll down to while locked & set it to whatever you like ;)

Thanks. I hide "sensitive" content, hopefully that will take care of it. I like the on screen notifications, just don't want all my emails to show up.

So, i "hid" sensitive content, but it still shows a notification for the app, text message or email that i received. But the notification says "sensitive content hidden". I really like the lock screen notifications, but i have a Yahoo email that i prefer to keep hidden from prying eyes.... any thoughts?

Only other option at this time is select Don't show notifications instead of hide sensitive content. :(
I'll see if there is a workaround or an option I'm missing.

I may have just figured it out.
Settings >sounds and notifications >Application notifications. ... then select the app you want "hidden" from the lock screen, in my case, Yahoo mail. Then select "on" , which i believe will hide that app from the lock screen. I'll confirm this as soon as i get an email from Yahoo.

I've had 5.0 running for almost 2 days now with no problems :)
I checked for the sprint update - updated - & kept on rolling :)

Did the update preserve user and app data?

So far i really like my Lollipop. .. but occasionally, my S5 seems to be SUPER laggy. Also, every now and then, it will just "stop" and kinda freeze up. Is any one else having this issue? It's not horrible, but it happens about once or twice a day.

I'd clear the cache, I'll bet that gets you free of those freezups.
Just pull your battery out then reinsert it. Next step while your phone is powered off - hold down the volume up button - home button & power button till your phone cones back on & is in recovery mode. Select clear cache & let it do its thing. Now select reboot phone & you should be good to go ;)

AT&T really dropped the ball on 5.0 (Not as badly as Verizon's mess) but still they just released a buggy 4.4.4.... Come on AT&T you can do better.....

Hopefully both "Major " carriers get things together & take better care of their customers in the future (that is if they still have customers to take care of).

I would waffle away from Verizon If it weren't so darned:
    • expensive, I can't afford to pay full retail
    • loss of coverage
    • have to change phones and reconfigure them all (4)
    • loss of good customer service (my experience anyway)

on the other hand, it would be nice to not have bloatware...
think I will start looking for something to play with that is not Verizon branded....
