Root [Sprint/Cricket] MMS "failed to load" error messages

I am getting "failed to load" when people send my pictures in MMS mode messaging, which is strange because I can easily send them messages.

The full breakdown:

Sprint Galaxy S3, 32 Gb, unlocked for use with metro Pcs.

Any ideas?

Are you using the stock sms/mms app? Or a 3rd party? (sometimes 3rd party tend to work better imo)

Which rom are you on? (assuming your rooted since you've got this in the root section)

My specs.
Samsung galaxy S3, for sprint, UNLOCKED for use with my metro PCS account, Rooted with Team Epic root.
I used this method.

I have NOT installed any roms, I am a little intimated by the process, but I am getting ready to do it anyway. Will a ROM make this problem go away? Also will a ROM solve the pesky "system updates" notice that keeps flashing on my phone?


My situation: My phone is giving me "failed to download message" for an and all messages other than text. This includes all attachments, V-cards, and pictures. I have tried using handcent as a solution and I still get "failed to download"
