I recently signed up for the hotspot plan and have been very unsatisfied with the performance of the hotspot through my EVO. I live in downtown Atlanta and have pretty good 4G coverage.
My main problem (besides it being slow) is I can't seem to keep the hotspot consistently working. When watching netflix (through my browser or Roku) or even just browsing the web, the WiFi network often drops or simply stops responding.
Anyone have any thoughts? I'm not sure how to tell if the break down is device to phone or phone to network ... but I do know that pinging my phone's address (192.168.1.1) often returns round trip times greater than 2 seconds!
