I currently do not have access to a computer and won't anytime soon. Is there any way to root a Sprint Galaxy SII (Epic 4G Touch?) from the phone it's self...? Without a computer... I mean, absolutely no use of a computer. ???

Unfortunately there isn't as Odin is required to be able to root.

Does anyone know where I can get a free shell account in a couple of days...? One that I can telnet into. Would that even work? Install Odin on a shell account and use it from there? Because I have access to libry computers qhwre I can open a comand prompt and use telnet (I think), but I cam't install anything...
    Thanks in advance lol.

Ok, I found a computer to use, but I can't get the phone into download mode. Is that because I have FH13? If so, how do i get to ff18...? Or whatever I'm supposed to have?

Pull the battery. Then reinsert and hold vol - and power until the sgs2 logo appears and let go. Then you should get into download mode
