Try the app called MSLReader in the play store. It's by ESCCODE.

The MSL script is outdated and no longer works or in all my attempts (even with correctly installed BusyBox and such), it fails to display a MSL code. Probably because the latest stock rom must have patched whatever exploit the script was using.

Currently the only way I know of and have successfully done my self is to install a non stock rom. (JBSourcery 4.1 is a good start) Then use the Sprint Diagnostics app to get my MSL.

Find and download the Sprint Diagnostics app. This app can retrieve your MSL code. But due to the way the app operates, it will not work on a stock rom unfortunately.

Also note the Data menu that the app gives you access to does not work in the JBSourcery rom as the app force closes the moment you try. It seems the hidden dialer code for the data menu for that rom also does not work. So if you are intending to do things in the DATA hidden menu and such, you'll need to flash back to the stock rom or use a different rom since JBSourcery doesn't appear to have working hidden dialer codes.

But I believe the MSL retrieving function works fine though. :)

Sprint diagnostics app comes with mmuzzy 4.2.1 too. I just tried getting my msl code and it worked.
