Sprint prepaid Galaxy S5 activated on Ringplus

I got the Sprint prepaid S5 for $299 on an Amazon lightning deal and on a whim I ran the MEID through the Ringplus BOYD MEID checker and it said it was good to go. I swapped my old Ringplus phone to the new S5, updated the PRL and Profile and everything works.

Ringplus is a pretty crappy Sprint MVNO but I rarely use cellular voice and all my data is through 3 Freedompop accounts with 1GB free data in each account so my phone bill is almost nothing.

For anyone wanting a new Samsung Galaxy S5 at a low price with cheap cellular service, this is the way to go.

Can you install custom roms for the regular contract sprint s5 on the prepaid sprint s5? If so I'm going to get the prepaid sprint s5 at Radioshack.

I am not sure if it works now. I got my LG Volt activated with Ting last December. However, it could not been activated with Ringplus any longer due to Sprint's new policy for prepaid phones.
