Sprint s7 edge not activating

I purchased a New galaxy s7 edge from a reputable seller on ebay. Never used.It is a sprint device with a clean ESN. Went to sprint store to get a SIM card. Brought it home to activate online and said it could not be activated.Took it in to my local sprint store and 2 different employees looked at it and said they didn't know why It couldn't be activated. The phone is brand new.never used. Clean ESN. Correct sim card.My account is always paid upon time. Does anyone know or have a similar problem.hope I don't have to return it.

Do you know absolutely for sure that the ESN, MEID actually is 100% and has no outstanding issues with the carrier, or are you taking the Ebay vendor word for it? I would have thought the carrier, Sprint, would know and could check if it is blacklisted or not.

I checked and sprint checked.its clean
