Sprint software update (9/22/10)

    So apparently there is a new software update out that fixes the lag and boosts performance overall. I'm willing to bet that just like the last .6 update, this will probably break root. That said, if any of you rooted users wanna take one for the team and try it out for us, we'd be most grateful!

    One of my friends took my advice and got a Hero. I'll have him update, then try rooting. He's not yet rooted, so he won't be missing much :)

    And I'm sure that once he does decide to root, all will be good to go anyway...

    You can always downgrade back to the .5 RUU following the directions on the XDA website. My phone came with .6 update and I downgraded to .5 to root.
