Alright so I have 2 Samsung Galaxy S2s. One is my 4th refurb sent from Virgin Mobile since I bought my original phone last January, and the other is a Sprint phone that a family member gave me since they recently switched carriers.

What I want to do is get the Sprint phone to work on Virgin Mobile and get rid of the phone I'm using now since it has definitely seen better days.

I've read a bit about needing to change the ESN number on the Sprint phone to the number on my current phone so that it will work with the network but I am unsure about what exactly it is I have to do.

So my questions are: Where do I start? What do I need? What all do I need to do?

I know Sprint has the "Bring Your Own Sprint Device" program for all their MVNO's but Virgin Mobile isn't participating in that program (figures).

Does your phone have a sim card? If not, then it is a CDMA phone.

Moving a CDMA phone from one carrier to another requires the help of the carrier. You might as well start there, because without their help it will not be possible.
