I use the one from Gapps on the Roms and Kernel page. That works just fine for me. First run always tells me to setup i tell it to shutup check the box that says don't show this again and enjoy all my voice mails.

If you're going to flash different roms, i would highly recommend using Google Voice. After the initial setup, it's as easy as signing in into the Google voice app

Google Voice will be your new voicemail. If someone leaves a message for you and you're not near your phone, you can check online on your computer. It also can be synced to your gmail so even if your phone dies, like mine did, I was still able to retrieve my voicemail in gmail or GV.

Like I said, after the initial setup on the computer side, if you decide to flash a new rom, download GV from the market, sign in and you're good to go for voicemail.

There are several other options for setting up your voicemail on the computer side of things.

Nice thing about GV, you can archive any voicemail you want for however long you want and wherever you want, which is nice:)
