This tablet has an out dated android firmware and I was wondering if anyone could direct me to updating so I can install other products on it (Google Maps). Forgot it also does not have support from manufacturer.

yep nothing on their website. unfortunately, if there is no update and the manufacturer is not offering any firmware updates, there really is not much you can do other then learn code and figure out a way to root the device.....or your other option is to just get a new tablet.

Okay then lets see if I can do something different because I will not be able to figure out how to right code and do this. So next would be to see if I can add new programs to this tablet via usb port if possible.
Any thoughts?

Try this site, find the version of Google maps, download and install and see what happens.
